The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as important members in the influential clan could help the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Audiences can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
